- Richard has shipped the completed nosecone tooling to Roman, which
will provide for close-tolerance axial alignment of the nosecone to the
rocket.
- With regard to chute controller progress, Hans has implemented a much
improved launch detection algorithm.
- Brent Dougherty has kindly come on-board and agreed to help with the
casting of the propellant. This is great news, as Brent 's experience
with sugar propellant will be a definite asset.
-Richard & Ed Mallory held a Skype call this evening to discuss
avionics. A finalized avionics configuration has been agreed upon. Ed is
currently working on a prototype of the booster section avionics.
- Richard has completed application of the ablative layer on the nozzle
inlet portion. The ablative serves as a thermal insulator to minimize
heat transfer to the fibreglass casing, and consists of epoxy filled
with glass microspheres:

Sugar Shot project. Merci beaucoup, Denis !
