Weekly Activity Report - September 21-September27, 2009

Highlights of recent developments on the MiniSShot Project
-------------------------------------------------------------

- John Newman has fabricated one section of the composite airframe
tubing that will house the recovery system. The tubing was formed on a
custom manufactured aluminum mandrel, and consists of 3 plies of carbon
fabric totaling 0.035" (0.89mm) wall thickness.

- Richard received the parcel containing the radio recovery beacons,
Chute Controller, and Parrot altimeter sent by Chris King. Mounting
arrangements inside the Avionics Bay will be determined and battery life
testing will be conducted.

- Andre received the DTMF unit sent by Richard. Work on the DTMF/radio
unit had been undertaken by Leon Salisbury, who was unable to finish
testing due to personal matters. Andre has picked up the task to ready
the system for flight.

- The Vehicle Mass Statement has been completed and the information sent
to Hans for generating stability checks and flight simulations.
