Highlights of recent developments on the MiniSShot Project

- Chris King has shipped Main Computer (MC) s/n 003 and the GPS unit to
Hans for troubleshooting. During ground testing, Chris discovered he was
unable to read the GPS data. Despite exhaustive attempts to resolve the
issue, the problem persisted. Rick Maschek shipped MC s/n 008 to Hans in
case the problem with the original MC cannot be fixed in time.
- Chris King also reported that he was able to successfully test the
Chute Controller (CC) and Parrot squib circuits and ribbon cable using
the M-Tek electric match. Chris has also produced a "simulator" for the
pressure transducer and RTD temperature sensors in preparation for
further ground testing when the MC is returned.
