Highlights of recent developments on the MiniSShot Project
-------------------------------------------------------------
- Hans has updated both the Chute Controller instructions/checklist and
the Main Computer instructions/checklist for the upcoming flight.

- Richard has completed both motor casings and has successfully
hydrostatic proof pressure tested both to 1050 psi (71 bar), which
represents a factor of 1.4 over the maximum chamber pressure experienced
in the July 25th motor firing.
- Matt Campbell has been making good progress on WP33 (determining which
battery type should be used and purchasing such). Both primary (e.g.
Lithium/manganese)and secondary batteries (e.g. LiPo) are being considered.
- Chris King has completed both the Beeline Radio Beacon
instructions/checklist and the Featherweight Parrot altimeter
instructions/checklist (WP20B and WP20C) for the upcoming flight .
- On Saturday, Chris King once again flew the GHATR rocket with the
Chute Controller on-board, the final flight test of the unit before the
upcoming MiniSShot launch. The data from the flight is still being
analyzed, although it appears that the Chute Controller worked as
programmed.
