Highlights of recent developments on the MiniSShot Project
-------------------------------------------------------------

this coming weekend. Photos of the mounted avionics:

- Rick Maschek has begun casting of the propellant grains for the
upcoming Feb.7th MiniSShot flight.

- Andrew Nowakowski has shipped the fins to Rick Maschek. The fins
currently have a rough finish and will need to be sanded down.

- Matt Campell has purchased the appropriate LiPoly batteries that will
be used for the MiniSShot avionics, and has forwarded them to Chris King
for this weekend's avionics ground testing.

- Matt Campbell reports that Kevin Martin has kindly offered to research
the wind and
weather pattern for the upcoming launch, and will post this information
on a web site.

- Hans has updated the MiniSShot Chute Controller instructions and
MiniSShot main computer instructions
to more accurately reflect the avionics arrangement, and to provide the
events programming for the MiniSShot flight. Alberto Gassol has uploaded
the revised documents to the Sugar Shot web site:

another $100 to Sugar Shot. Cliff is one of our long-time supporters
who's financial contributions and technical suggestions are most welcome.

Donations are URGENTLY needed to fund the Non-Profit Org. application
process. The costs of this key endeavour are significant, and without
funds being available, the process could be stymied. We need your
support. http://www.sugarshot.org/sponsors.html#Donors
