Highlights of recent developments on the MiniSShot Project

- Preparations continue for the planned MiniSShot launch set for March
21st. The weather in southern California continues to be unusually wet,
however, it is hoped that things will improve over the next week and a half.
- The wet weather led to a cancellation of Rick's Maschek's planned
proving flight of the recovery system. This was scheduled to occur this
past weekend. The test has been rescheduled for this coming weekend.
Rick also plans to test fire a rocket motor with "topped off" propellant
grains. These are grain segments in which additional propellant was
added in order to "top off", or fully fill, the casting tubes.
- The planned avionics system proving flight has been postponed due the
the MC problems. Hans has shipped replacement units to Chris and are
expected to arrive late this week.
